Is it appropriate for the court to delay the sale of one of two or more properties pledged as security?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from BlueShore Financial Credit Union v Baker, 2019 BCSC 576 (CanLII):

It may be appropriate for the court to delay a sale of one of two or more properties pledged as security if its immediate sale is not necessary to repay the amount owing under the mortgage. This is illustrated by Master Horn’s decision in St. Aubrey Davies v. Jeffrey, 2002 BCSC 52.
