Justice Saunders noted in Hejzlar v. Mitchell-Hejzlar at para. 46 that it is a material error for the court to place any weight on evidence that the relocating parent would not move without the child because: The subtle, and troublesome, consequence of approaching the question with preference for the status quo is that the fully rounded analysis does not occur.
