These are the substantive changes from the law set forth in the decision in Lax v. Lax, supra. In that case, the court drew a distinction between a specialty, that is, a document or a judgment under seal, and a simple contract. As stated, a judgment under seal being a specialty has a limitation of 20 years, whereas a simple contract has one of six.
