What is the test for a husband who works in pipe fitter's workshop to be entitled to compensation for his work ethic and work ethic?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from DeCicco v. DeCicco, 2003 CanLII 2095 (ON SC):

Generally, there must be something more that the assumption of household and child-care to justify an award of compensatory support. There should be evidence of an exceptional contribution and none was provided to the court. In this case, it is conceivable that the husband would have attained the goals that he did on his own outside of marriage particularly given his strong work ethic and skills as a pipe fitter.
