It is true that it is now settled law that the finding by the jury of one of a number of grounds of negligence charged by the plaintiff negatives all grounds not found: Andreas v. C.P.R. (1905) 1905 CanLII 26 (SCC), 37 S.C.R. 1; Pruett v. G.T. Ry. [1917] 2 W. W.R. 662.
