In Regina v. Boutilier 2017 SCC 64 at para. 70 the court in setting out the framework the court stated: Section 753(4.1) reflects the fact that, just as nothing less than a sentence reducing the risk to an acceptable level is required for a dangerous offender, so too is nothing more required.
