In Louie v. Louie, [1996] B.C.W.L.D. 1097, Huddart J. (as she then was) reapportioned in circumstances where the husband persisted in continuing a losing business venture over his wife’s objections and used the threat of a forced division of assets by separation as a means of obtaining her consent to increased borrowing to support this venture. Again, those facts are far afield of those in the case at bar.
