What factors factor in determining whether a child becomes disentitled to support for education expenses after leaving the relationship?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Solomos v. Solomos, 2007 CanLII 458 (ON SC):

Where an adult child chooses to reject a payor parent, to unilaterally terminate a relationship for no good reason, that may factor into the decision on whether the child becomes thereafter disentitled to support for education expenses. (Apthorpe v. Shearing, [1998] O.J. No. 4686). In the instant case, I have heard the evidence of Andreas and read that of Tania. The former flowed passionately and at length from an obviously hurt and frustrated parent. It was clear, consistent and compelling.
