What is the value of a bank pension to be divided equally?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from McAdam v. McAdam, 2009 ABQB 109 (CanLII):

The bank pension, now being paid monthly since 1 January, 2007, is a family asset to be divided equally. There is no need to establish the present value of the pension because it is "in pay" and can be divided between the parties at source. See Clark v. Clarke, 1990 CanLII 86 (SCC), [1990] 2 S.C.R. 795 at para. 69.
