With respect to the analysis of the stop in this case, determining the police purpose(s) at the time of the stop is to be ascertained from the evidence of the officer involved, the person detained, and the other available evidence concerning the execution of the stop. Selective stops must be carefully scrutinized. Brown v. Durham Regional Police Force (supra) at p. 12 (Q.L.)
