32. Even if the applicants had the standing to bring a claim for breach of section 31, I would have found there is no such breach. As noted by the court in Hill v. The Owners, Strata Plan KAS 510, 2016 BCSC 1753, some lattitude is justified when scrutinizing the strata council’s conduct, within reason. It is important to remember that strata councils are made up of volunteers and mistakes will be made.
