Can a wife add a beneficial interest to the matrimonial home owned by the husband's parents and in the family corporation?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from B. L. v. B. A. A., 2005 CanLII 2721 (ON SC):

In the case of Stainton v. Stainton [2000] O.J. No. 420 (ONT S.C.J.). the court did grant leave to add extended family members and corporations to a wife’s claim regarding a beneficial interest in the matrimonial home owned by the husband’s parents and in the family corporation. The order was that those cases be tried separately immediately after the family law claim.
