Is a settlement that was reached after mediation enforceable?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Gorzen v Christensen, 2014 CanLII 5089 (ON SCSM):

58. In the Srebot v. Srebot Farms Ltd., et al, case the court was asked to determine, after finding that an agreement had been reached following mediation, whether it should be enforced. The court concluded, on the particular facts of that case, that the settlement was unreasonable and would be unfair and would be an injustice to the plaintiff were it to be enforced.
