Is there any case law where a defendant agreed to pay interest on a loan?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from Kindersley & District Co-operative Limited v. Bowman, 1983 CanLII 2103 (SK QB):

I am quite aware of the case of Speers v. West, 1946 CanLII 137 (SK QB), [1947] 1 W.W.R. 32, a judgment of Hogarth, D.C.J., and a Saskatchewan decision. However, this case is of very little assistence for the Judge stated at page 34; “There is no suggestion that the defendant ever agreed to pay interest.”
