The confidentiality of solicitor-client communications is also a concern: “[T]he right to communicate with one’s legal adviser is a fundamental civil and legal right, founded upon the unique relationship of solicitor and client…” (see Solosky v. The Queen, 1979 CanLII 9 (SCC), [1980] 1 S.C.R. 821 at 839).
