In looking at sentencing for this accused, I have referred to R v. C.A.M., 1996 CanLII 230 (SCC),  1 S. C. R. 500 (at para. 82): In the final analysis, the overarching duty of a sentencing judge is to draw upon all the legitimate principles of sentencing to determine a "just and appropriate" sentence which reflects the gravity of the offence committed and the moral blameworthiness of the offender
