How has the Court considered the adequacy of the instruction to the jury as to the meaning of the offence of dangerous driving?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from R. v. Thomas, 1972 CanLII 778 (SK QB):

Regina v. Peda involved a consideration of the adequacy of the trial Judge’s instruction to the jury as to the meaning of the offence of dangerous driving. Although Cartwright C.J.C. dissented and found the charge inadequate, his statement aforesaid, to the extent that he affirms the law concerning dangerous driving, is not, in my opinion, affected by the majority opinion on the issue of the sufficiency of the charge to the jury.
