In R v. Selvaratnam, [2018] O.J. No. 3152, the offender was sentenced to a total of 6 years for possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and 3 years concurrent for possessing approximately 70 grams of heroin for the purpose of trafficking. The offender pled guilty and had one prior conviction for possessing a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking approximately 11 years earlier.
