The test that a complainant must show with regard to accommodation of pets was addressed in Judd v. Strata Plan LMS737, 2010 BCHRT 276 (at para. 33): Complainants are not required to prove that they “cannot live” without a pet. They are however required to prove that, due to their disabilities, not having a pet would result in an adverse impact.
