What is the penalty for failure to co-operate with an investigation?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Law Society of Ontario v. Mantella, 2021 ONLSTH 134 (CanLII):

Absent exceptional circumstances, the normal penalty for failure to co‑operate where a licensee has no prior disciplinary history and has not completely responded by the hearing is well established. That is an indefinite suspension until outstanding responses have been provided followed by a one-month definite suspension: Law Society of Ontario v. David, 2020 ONLSTH 145 at para. 36, and Law Society of Ontario v. Greenhill, 2021 ONLSTH 13 at para. 13.
