Is there any finding that the Testator's instructions to a beneficiary were not given to the Solicitor by Testator or Testator?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Lowe (Estate), 2001 ABQB 1042 (CanLII):

This is not a case like Painter v. Hodgin 1935 CanLII 167 (SK CA), [1935] 1 W.W.R. 410. I can make no finding such as was made there. There the Testator gave those instructions to the beneficiary, who then communicated them to the solicitor.
