No. 1673, 2000 CarswellOnt 1600, is a similar case in which a series of offers where exchanged over the 20 months prior to trial with the last offer being made 4 calendar days before trial commenced. The trial judge awarded solicitor client costs dating back to the first Rule 49.10 offer filed 20 months prior to trial.
