The Law Society Tribunal appeal panel determined in Law Society of Upper Canada v. Stewart, 2012 ONLSAP 30 that false or misleading statements concerning an application meet the threshold of s. 8(2) of By-Law 4 and disqualify an applicant for a licence only if they are deliberate.
