Even if I am wrong on this issue, I find that there is an insufficient basis upon which to quantify any calculation of occupation rent. In this case, the husband called an expert to give an opinion regarding the value of occupation rent for the home. It is well-settled that a trial judge is entitled to rely on some, all, or none of an expert’s opinion: see Bortnikov v. Rakitova, 2016 ONCA 427 (CanLII).
