What factors must the court consider when making an order for support under s. 15(7) of the Divorce Act?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from T. v. T., 1997 CanLII 3874 (BC SC):

The Divorce Act sets out the factors the court is required to consider when making an order for support. Moge v. Moge made it clear that the goal of self-sufficiency is not paramount but that all four objectives defined in s. 15(7) of the Divorce Act must be taken into account. The decision has often been viewed as endorsing a compensatory model.
