There is no doubt that authority exists to order the sale of the matrimonial home pursuant to s. 10(1)(b), 15 (b) and 19 of the Matrimonial Property Act. Crooks v. Crooks (1993) 1992 CanLII 2795 (NS SC), 115 N.S.R. (2d) 258, specifically s. 15(1) states that “on an application for the division of matrimonial assets, the court may order the partition or sale of any property.”
