12 In that case, Allan J. noted Martin v. McDonald Estate (Grey) 1990 CanLII 32 (SCC), [1991] 1 W.W.R. 705 and, while finding it distinguishable, stressed at p. 3 that the case: . . . underscores the court's jurisdiction to preserve the integrity of our system of justice by exercising its inherent jurisdiction to remove from the record solicitors who have a conflict of interest or who give the appearance of a conflict of interest.
