Does a law firm have to be disqualified in a family law matter?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Her Majesty the Queen v. Chartis Insurance Company of Canada, 2014 ONSC 4221 (CanLII):

The one exception in which the firm was disqualified, relied on by Ontario, is Marinangeli v. Marinangeli, [2004] CanLII 4041 (ONSC) a family law matter in which the wife sought to disqualify her husband’s lawyer because her former lawyer, who had acted for her earlier in the dispute had joined the firm of her husband’s lawyer.
