Is loss of valuable services in performance of housekeeping services included in general damages?

New Brunswick, Canada

The following excerpt is from Jacob v. Roy, 2005 NBQB 421 (CanLII):

I have no expert evidence on loss of valuable services and in this case I would expect none. Given the evidence I do have, I am satisfied that again the matter of loss of valuable services in performance of housekeeping services and compensation in this regard should be included in the award of non-pecuniary general damages. Sinclair v. Dines, [2005] N.B.J. No. 37. (N.B.C.A. per Drapeau, C.J.N.B.)
