Because an award for the loss of housekeeping capacity reflects the loss of personal capacity, which is an asset, the issue of whether the plaintiff had used replacement services or is likely to hire such assistance in the future does not inform the analysis. That is a crucial distinction between those damages and awards for a plaintiff's future cost of care as affirmed in O'Connell v. Yung, 2012 BCCA 57 at para. 67:
