With respect to the second consideration, it is clear that K.M. would have been financially better off, on a global basis, if he had accepted the offer than if he proceeded with this action: Kopp v. Kopp 2011 BCSC 889 at para. 7. The parenting arrangement order made at trial was also consistent with the terms of the offer of settlement with nine nights with mother and five with father, rather than the pre-existing equal sharing.
With respect to the third consideration, the evidence was clear that the claimant had far greater financial resources than the respondent, including becoming part of a two income family: Cameron v. Cameron 2014 BCSC 142 at para. 16.
