What is the test for awarding sole custody to the wife in a custody dispute?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Lane v. Lane, 2002 CanLII 2794 (ON SC):

Mr. Justice Aitken of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Jones v. Jones [2002] O.J.No.2117 found that the relationship between the parties was highly conflicted, that the husband showed lack of respect for the wife and for the court process, that the husband did not provide financial disclosure, and that the husband showed lack of concern for the children. He therefore awarded sole custody to the wife.
