The following excerpt is from Sipes v. West Vancouver Police Board and another, 2012 BCHRT 319 (CanLII):

The public interest determination also considers the circumstances of the specific case and is guided by the purposes of the Code: Jhaj v. Weyerhaeuser Co. West Island Timberlands, 2006 BCHRT 364.

I find that the delays, including the gaps between allegations in this case, are extreme and this weighs heavily against acceptance: Dickson v. Vancouver Island Human Rights Coalition, 2005 BCHRT 209.
