2 The wire fraud statute, 18 U.S.C. Sec. 1343, is substantively identical to the mail fraud statute in all relevant respects, including the "money or property" requirement. Both statutes are construed identically. See United States v. Covino, 837 F.2d 65, 71 (2d Cir.1988).
