Is there any case law supporting a finding of purposeful discrimination in jury selection?

MultiRegion, United States of America

The following excerpt is from U.S. v. Collins, 90 F.3d 1420 (9th Cir. 1996):

The trial court's factual findings regarding purposeful discrimination in jury selection are entitled to "great deference" and will not be set aside unless clearly erroneous. United States v. Vasquez-Lopez, 22 F.3d 900, 901 (9th Cir.), cert. denied, 513 U.S. 891, 115 S.Ct. 239, 130 L.Ed.2d 162 (1994). Here, there is no indication that the district court's finding of no purposeful discrimination was clearly erroneous.
