Is there any case where a portion of the interest rate was severed from a foreign judgment?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Radiant Global Logistics Inc. v Border Express Services Ltd., 2018 BCSC 1817 (CanLII):

Counsel referred me to the case of Wei v. Mei where the court notionally severed a portion of the interest rate which formed part of the agreement which was itself the subject of a foreign judgment. In that case the court found that the interest rate in the underlying agreement was in excess of 60% and therefore contravened the Canadian criminal interest rate. That issue dealt with specific facts which are very different from the case before me.
