Is a child of the marriage for child support purposes?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Strayski v. Strayski, 2005 ABQB 366 (CanLII):

At the time the interim support orders were made for the Plaintiff from the Respondent, he had enrolled in a course of studies and it was and is his plan to obtain his high school diploma. I am satisfied that he was and is a child of the marriage for child support purposes in accordance with the principles set out in PT v. RB, supra at para. 38.
