Can a judge reconsider his decision to grant an unentered order?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from L.C. v. P.B., 2021 BCPC 131 (CanLII):

There is no doubt that in the case of an unentered order, I have a discretion to reconsider my decision. This discretion is not unfettered though. The discretion “must be exercised rarely and only when the interests of justice clearly require prolonging the litigation in order to avoid a miscarriage of justice”, as stated at paragraph 48 of the decision Bajwa v. Habib.
