The following excerpt is from Donahue Schriber Realty Grp., Inc. v. Nu Creation Outreach, 181 Cal.Rptr.3d 577, 232 Cal.App.4th 1171 (Cal. App. 2014):

It is settled that the decision to grant a preliminary injunction is within the discretion of the trial court. [Citations.] A trial court abuses its discretion only if it has exceeded the bounds of reason or contravened the uncontradicted evidence. (City of Los Altos v. Barnes (1992) 3 Cal.App.4th 1193, 1199, [5 Cal.Rptr.2d 77].)
