Relying primarily on People v. Frierson (1985) 39 Cal.3d 803, 218 Cal.Rptr. 73, 705 P.2d 396, defendant claims he has the right to insist that a suppression motion be filed and adjudicated. We hold the decision whether to file a suppression motion is not one of the personal rights which a defendant is entitled to exercise over the contrary advice of counsel.
