2 In California v. Green (1970) 399 U.S. 149, 153-164, 90 S.Ct. 1930, 1932-1938, 26 L.Ed.2d 489, it was held that right to confrontation was not violated by the introduction of prior out-of-court statements by a declarant who is called as a witness and subject to cross-examination.
