A bankruptcy court's decision regarding the order in which to consider a motion to remand and a motion to transfer venue is reviewed for abuse of discretion. See Hawkins v. Biotronik, Inc. , No. 8:16-cv-02227, 2017 WL 838650, at *3 (C.D. Cal. Mar. 3, 2017) (district courts have discretion over whether to hear a motion to transfer prior to a motion to remand).
