People v. Wright, supra, 60 Cal.App.3d 6, 131 Cal.Rptr. 311, is squarely in point. There the police officer in good faith erased his tape recordings of interviews with the defendant. The court held the trial court had properly admitted into evidence the officer's testimony of defendant's statements.
