The following excerpt is from The People v. Sisneros, B214459, Super. Ct. No. YA067682 (Cal. App. 2010):

In that case, three spectators, including two of the defendant's family members, were excluded from the courtroom for about 40 minutes during jury selection. (People v. Bui, supra, 183 Cal.App.4th at p. 679.) After the trial court was advised of the situation, the problem was rectified and the courtroom was opened to all who wanted to be present.
