Cal.App.4th 493, 499.) The officer may inquire about matters unrelated to the traffic stop so long as the questioning does not prolong the detention beyond the reasonable time required to cite the driver for the violation. (People v. Tully (2012) 54 Cal.4th 952, 981.)
