The effect of these, among other similar cases, is that a failure to attend at an interview has only been considered a disciplinary matter when it could reasonably be regarded as evidence of a desire or purpose to undermine what was described in IDA v. Derivative Services Inc. as the integrity of the self-regulatory system and the effectiveness of its operations.
