The following excerpt is from C.M.G. v. C.A.G., 2007 SKQB 240 (CanLII):

Based on the assessor’s recommendation and rationale, and on the firm wishes of both of the parents, I order joint custody of the children to the parents. However, the parent having primary residence shall have final authority to make decisions affecting the child, absent agreement (see Lamont-Daneault v. Daneault, 2003 MBCA 111; [2004] 6 W.W.R. 505 (Man. C.A.).
