How have the courts interpreted the Miranda Miranda Miranda Statement?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from People v. Bunyard, 249 Cal.Rptr. 71, 45 Cal.3d 1189, 756 P.2d 795 (Cal. 1988):

Defendant next contends that the court erred by allowing the prosecutor to refer, in argument, to a portion of a statement of defendant ruled inadmissible under Miranda v. Arizona (1966) 384 U.S. 436, 86 S.Ct. 1602, 16 L.Ed.2d 694. Even if we assume that the trial court erred in this respect, any error was not prejudicial.
