As stated, [petitioner] does not challenge the trial court's exercise of discretion as such; that is, he does not contend that he falls outside the spirit of the three strikes law. (See Carmony, supra, 33 Cal.4th at pp. 375-378, 14 Cal.Rptr.3d 880, 92 P.3d 369.) Accordingly, we need not review that separate issue. (See People v. Stanley (1995) 10 Cal.4th 764, 793, 42 Cal.Rptr.2d 543, 897 P.2d 481 [point not developed is forfeited].)
