How has the court dealt with a motion to exonerate a bond issued against appellant?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from Cnty. of Orange v. Seneca Ins. Co., 247 Cal.Rptr.3d 72, 35 Cal.App.5th 194 (Cal. App. 2019):

With no request for exoneration of the bond, the trial court entered summary judgment against appellant on it and appellant was served with a notice of entry of judgment. Appellant unsuccessfully moved to set aside the summary judgment, discharge the forfeiture and exonerate the bond. This court affirmed the denial of relief in an unpublished opinion. (People v.
